Help, Hope and Healing

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Living Waters community. Whatever your skill or comfort level, if you have a desire to be part of something bigger than yourself, we will find a place for you!

Here are some ways our volunteers help restore and rebuild lives:

  • SERVE (breakfast, lunch, coffee, clothing shop)
  • ORGANIZE (volunteers, special events, projects, etc.)
  • WRITE (newsletter, flyers, website, etc.)
  • DESIGN (poster, presentations, etc.)
  • Support in accessing housing, medical & social services.
  • FACILITATE (book clubs, discovery groups, recovery groups, etc.)
  • MAINTAIN or IMPROVE (cleaning, plumbing, electric, landscaping etc.)

How to Get Involved

We’d love to get to know you! Stop in at our Community Café where a warm welcome is waiting for you. Or, fill out a volunteer application and return it to volunteercoord@livingwaterslowell.org or to Diane Waddell, founding director, at diane@livingwaterslowell.org

Remember, when you volunteer or donate you are not just giving a helping hand or a handout — you are enriching your own life too!
